A Copper Center Tradition Since 1948

Nummy's Restaurant has been welcoming travelers and local residents since 1948. Named after Kathryn "Nummy" Ashby, whose cooking and hospitality became legendary throughout the Copper River Valley, the restaurant continues a tradition of friendly service, generous portions, and home-cooked meals.

Located within the historic Old Town Copper Center property, whose roots date back to 1896, Nummy's remains a favorite gathering place for visitors and locals alike. Following the 2012 fire, the historic Club 96 tavern building was transformed into today's restaurant and kitchen, preserving a long-standing tradition of hospitality in the heart of Alaska.

Today, guests can enjoy hearty breakfasts, satisfying lunches, and delicious dinners while experiencing a piece of Copper Center history.
