A Rich History Since 1896

Old Town Copper Center traces its roots to the original Copper Center Lodge, established in 1896 along Alaska's historic Richardson Trail. For generations, travelers, adventurers, miners, hunters, fishermen, and locals have gathered here while exploring the Copper River Valley and surrounding wilderness.
In 1948, Nummy's Restaurant began serving guests and quickly became a local favorite. Today, Old Town Copper Center Inn & Restaurant proudly continues more than a century of family-owned hospitality, offering comfortable lodging, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere for visitors from around the world.
For more than 125 years, ownership has remained in the hands of local families dedicated to welcoming travelers to Alaska's Copper River Valley.
