Old Town Copper Center Inn guests are invited to access Klutina River salmon waters from our property. Others may use the fishing area for a small fee.

Nearby lakes and streams--many accessible from the Glenn and Richardson Highways--offer Rainbow and Lake Trout, burbot, grayling, and steelhead.

Additionally, many local lakes are stocked by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Contact the ADFG local field office in Glennallen for fishing regulations and maps of the area, as well as information about stocked lakes and state managed trails and waysides. Phone ADFG at 907-822-3309 during regular weekly business hours.

The federal Bureau of Land Management Glennallen Field Office is a source of information regarding scenic rivers and BLM-managed trails in our area, including those in the popular Tangle Lakes Archeological District. Stop in to see them in Glennallen or call them at 907-822-3217.

We highly recommend Salmon Grove Guide Service and Campgroung for their half and full-day salmon fishing charters, RV and tent sites for visitors, and other services. Contact them at 907-822-5822 and visit their website, www.klutinariver.com.

Other fishing guide and rafts services in the area include River Wranglers, Copper River Salmon Charters, and Gulkana River Raft Rental.
